Question

Has anyone ever heard this song? A buddy of mine mentioned it the other day and I don't think that I have ever heard it. What show might it be on?

Maybe he meant the song "It's alright", a very blues-leaning song..
I think they played it in Orlando, Florida, didn't they?
Well, just my two cents..

Thats probably it. Some fans have been calling it "so-cal" blues.

I thinks it's a Bob Dylan cover which would explain why sounds like it does.

There's 2 versions of the tune, 1 from Florida '04, and 1 from 3-6-05.

It's Alright is a new song they have added during the tour. It is definitely NOT a Bob Dylan song. That song is Don't Think Twice, It's Alright which is not a blues number anyway. It's Alright is an adaptation of the B side of Born to Lose which was called Ready For Love. It is based on a classic blues riff with original lyrics.

Indulgence27, isn't it funny that the "its alright" and the "don't think twice, its alright" song battle pops up once every 4 or 5 weeks? They are two different songs!!! Everyone should go buy the Mike Ness albums...they are devastating in their perfection, and go see Social D in concert (if you're lucky in location) and maybe they'll play "its alright" (or get someone to send it to you)...tthis little debate arises when a person has heard one version but has missed out on the other.

Including "ready for love", all 3 are excellent tunes. Those people really need to check out Mike's solo stuff.
